Course Aims
This course is intended to provide a delegate with the skills and underpinning knowledge to carry out the duties of an Individual Working on or Near the Line on their own when deemed suitable by their Sponsor.
This course also includes Personal Track Safety Recertification and DCCR Recertification.

At the end of this course the delegates will: -
• Be able to carry out the duties of an Individual Working Alone as set out in Rule Book GE/RT/8000 and competence requirements of NR/L2/CTM/021 and NR/L2/OHS/019 and the relevant Handbooks
Pre Requisite Requirements
The following pre-requisites are required for this course:-
1. Must hold a valid track safety Sentinel card endorsed with PTS and meet the requirements of NR/L2/CTM/021 Competence and Training in Track Safety
2. Meet the medical requirements of Network Rail Standard NR/L2/OHS/00124 Competence Specific Fitness Medical Requirements
3. Meet the requirements of Network Rail Standard NR/L1/OHS/051 (Drugs & Alcohol).
4. It is the responsibility of the delegates sponsor to decide upon their suitability to attend this course in accordance with competence requirements of NR/L2/CTM/021
PPE Requirements
This course is classroom based and therefore no PPE is required.
Certification
No Certificate. Post course objectives and IWA Logbook will be issued to the delegate on completion of the course.
