Individual Working Alone Recertification

Course Aims

This course is a recertification of the delegate’s skills and understanding to carry out the duties of an Individual Working on or Near the Line on their own.
This course also includes Personal Track Safety and DCCR Recertification.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this course the delegates will: -
• Be able to continue to carry out the duties of an Individual Working Alone as set out in Rule Book GE/RT/8000 and competence requirements of NR/L2/CTM/021 and NR/L2/OHS/019 and the relevant Handbooks

Pre Requisite Requirements

The following pre-requisites are required for this course:-
1. Must hold a valid track safety Sentinel card endorsed with PTS and IWA and meet the requirements of NR/L2/CTM/021 Competence and Training in Track Safety
2. Meet the medical requirements of Network Rail Standard NR/L2/OHS/00124 Competence Specific Fitness Medical Requirements
3. Meet the requirements of Network Rail Standard NR/L1/OHS/051 (Drugs & Alcohol)
4. Must provide 4 entries in the work experience book since your last training or assessment event

PPE Requirements

This course is classroom based and therefore no PPE is required.

Certification

No Certificate. This competency is valid for 2 years and will be recorded on the Sentinel database.
